Naples Preserve Partners

Big Cypress National Preserve

From the Naples Preserve take US 41 South. At the corner of US41 and 5th Ave South, turn left continuing on US41. The Preserve boundary is approximately 40 miles from this intersection and the Cypress Visitor Center is another 20 miles on the left side of the road, about halfway between Naples and Miami.

Clam Pass Beach Park

Take US41 (9th Street N.) North to Seagate Drive. Turn Left (West) on Seagate Drive and proceed to the park. The park is straight ahead at the West End of Seagate Drive.

Collier County Museum

Travel East on US41 to Airport-Pulling Road. Turn left into the Collier County Government Complex at the corner of Airport-Pulling Road and US 41. Follow the signs to the 5 acre museum site.

Collier Seminole State Park

Travel east (right) on Fleischmann Blvd. Turn right onto Goodlette-Frank Road. Turn east (left) onto Tamiami Trail (US 41). Travel east US 41 for approximately 15 miles and the entrance will be on the right hand side of the road.

Conservancy Of Southwest Florida Nature Center

Drive east (turn right) on Fleischmann Blvd. Turn south (right) onto Goodlette-Frank Rd. Turn east (left) onto 14th Ave. North. Enter the Naples Nature Center off of 14th Ave. North.

Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary

Travel North on Tamiami Trail North (US 41) to Immokalee Road (CR 846). Turn east (right) onto Immokalee Road. Travel 21 miles to Sanctuary Road (CR 849). Turn North (left) onto Sanctuary Road, stay on pavement 2 miles to Sanctuary entrance. Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is open every day of the year, except in extreme weather. The boardwalk is wheelchair accessible.

Crew Land & Water Trust

Take Tamiami Trail (US 41) north to Pine Ridge Road. Turn east (right) on Pine Ridge Road and travel to I-75. Drive north on I-75 for 16 miles. Take Exit 123 (Corkscrew Rd./TECO Arena/FGCU). Turn east (right) onto Corkscrew Road and travel 18 miles (past to 90 degree curves). The entrance to CREW Marsh Trails is recessed and easy to miss. Look for a small white sign on the gate that reads "4600" and then look for a grassy parking area. The registration kiosk is set back from the road near the trailhead. Trails are open sunrise to sunset 365 days a year.

Everglades National Parks

Continue South on Tamiami Trail (US41) Turn Left onto 5th Ave South/Tamiami Trail (US41). Travel approximately 37 miles on Tamiami Trial (US41) to State Road 29 (SR29). Turn right on SR29. Travel 3 miles to Everglades City. Continue 2 miles through town to the Ranger Station/Visitor Center of Everglades National Park.

Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve

To get to the Big Cypress Bend Boardwalk, travel south on Tamiami Trail. Turn left on 5th Avenue South (Tamiami Trail E.). Travel a mile or two past Port of the Islands and the boardwalk will be on the left hand side of the road. There is additional parking on the right had side. Please watch for traffic when stopping and pulling off the road and when crossing the road on foot.

Immokalee Pioneer Museum At Roberts Ranch

Take US41 North to Immokalee Road. Turn Right onto Immokalee Road and travel about 30 miles. Immokalee Road curves into County HWY 846. Stay on Hwy 846 about 4 miles. Turn Left on East Main Street, the museum will be on your right past Roberts Ave.

Janes Scenic Drive

Continue south on Tamiami Trail. Turn left on 5th Avenue South (Tamiami Trail E.). Turn left onto State Road 29 and travel for about four miles and turn left onto Janes Scenic Drive. Janes Scenic Drive makes a sharp turn to the right about 100 yards down from the entrance. Go one mile north for the office and 11 miles across the Fakahatchee Preserve to the Picayune Strand State Forest. The road is bumpy and in the summer it is often flooded.

Picayune Strand State Forest

Continue north onto Tamiami Trail North and turn east (right) onto Golden Gate Parkway. Turn north (left) at County Road 951 (CR951). Travel 4.7 miles north to Golden Gate Boulevard. Turn right onto Golden Gate Boulevard and go approximately 8.8 miles east to Everglades Boulevard. Turn right on Everglades Boulevard and go south to main entrance of Picayune Strand State Forest.

Take Fleischmann Blvd. To Goodlette Frank Road, travel South (turn right) on Goodlette Frank Road. Turn left on to Tamiami Trail (US 41), and stay on Tamiami Trail approximately 8 miles to the intersection of Tamiami Trail and Collier Blvd. Turn Right on Collier Blvd. Stay on Collier Blvd for another 8 miles onto Marco Island and turn right on Kendall Drive. Take Kendal a half-mile to Hernando Dr. and turn Left.
